Hassan Yasar is an agricultural economist with academic and field-based expertise in sustainable agriculture, agricultural mechanization, and smallholder farming systems. His work focuses on how technological innovations and climate resilient agricultural practices can enhance farm productivity, food security, and rural livelihoods in Pakistan. He also has practical experience in survey implementation, field research, and quantitative data analysis related to farming systems. Within the SMALLPAK project, he is working as a Research Assistant and contributes to research on resilient smallholder production systems, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based agricultural development in Punjab, Pakistan.
