Haider Zaman is a veterinarian with experience in dairy production, beef and mutton production and livestock management. As a Phd scholar in SMALLPAK, the main focus of his research is on indigenous innovative livestock practices performed by smallholder livestock farmers, especially women in rural areas of Punjab. His research aims to highlight the food security issues faced by livestock farmers. He is working on discovering pragmatic ways to uplift the socio-economic status of livestock farmers especially women farmers in South Punjab.
